Meet Reece Booth

In 1977 while in jr. high school, Reece picked up his first camera, a tiny Kodak Trimlite Instamatic 18. That same year he would flip through the pages of  Sports Illustrated, soon realizing that sports photography was what he wanted to do. Fast forward to 1985 when he purchased his first Nikon SLR camera, the FE2 with a 50mm lens and an SB 15 flash. He would later add another Nikon camera and a 300mm f2.8 telephoto lens containing the new “autofocus” technology, which was perfect for sports photography!

Life took him on a different path until 1999 when he made the decision to be a full-time professional photographer. Having photographed everything from weddings, families, headshots, senior portraits, sports teams & action photos to school portraits, he now specializes in sports team portraits, school portraits & senior portrait photography.

Originally from South Point, Ohio, he’s had stops in Kansas City, MO (chiropractic school), Harrison, OH (chiropractic practice) before eventually settling back home in 2007 where he’s been photographing for the past 17 years. He’s looking forward to 2024 as his 25th year as a professional photographer.
